FAQ's

  1. What class should I take?
    Class descriptions are listed on the “Courses” section of this web site.  If you are still unsure of which class is best for you, then simply call our office and one of our friendly instructors will be glad to assist you.

  2. What if I’ve never had CPR or AED training before? 
    That’s fine.  No prior knowledge or experience is required to take any of the classes Cautilli CPR, Inc. offers.  Once you’ve decided which level of training best suits your needs, we will teach you everything you need to know.

  3. What is an “AED?”
    An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable, electronic, life-saving device that is designed to correct an abnormal heart rhythm called V-fib.

  4. Where will my course be taught?
    Cautilli CPR, Inc. provides “on-site” instruction.  This means that we will come to your home or place of employment to teach the class.  We provide all necessary supplies such as manikins and training materials.

  5. What should I wear to class?
    The course involves a lot of hands-on practice.  It is best to wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move around.

  6. What if I have a cold or other infection the day of my scheduled class?
    Please notify your instructor prior to coming to class.  If your class can not be postponed, you will be issued your own manikin for the duration of the class.  The manikin will not be used by anyone else until it has been properly cleaned and decontaminated according to CDC guidelines.

  7. Who will be teaching my course?
    Your class will be taught by one of our knowledgeable and experienced instructors.  All of the instructors at Cautilli CPR, Inc. are dual certified by the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross. 

  8. What is the minimum number of participants required for each class?
    Unless otherwise noted, there is a minimum number of six participants required for each class. 

  9. Do you offer private classes?
    Yes, Cautilli CPR, Inc. will be happy to provide you with private, one-on-one instruction at your convenience.  The cost of a private class is $150.

  10. Can lost certification card be replaced?
    Yes, a lost card can be replaced, however, a $10 processing fee will be charged.  Simply provide your name, course name and date when making the request.
