BLS for Healthcare Providers – Renewal Course
Adult CPR/AED
- 4 hour course
- This course is designed to teach participants how to respond to basic emergencies, recognize and care for nonlife-threatening and life threatening medical conditions, and administer CPR to an adult. In addition, the participants will be taught the information and skills necessary for correct use of an AED (automated external defibrillator).
- Course fee includes: Adult CPR & AED certification card (valid for 1 year) from the American Red Cross, participant’s workbook, face shield and non-latex gloves.

Adult/Child CPR
- 4 hour course
- This course is designed to teach participants how to respond to basic emergencies, recognize and care for nonlife-threatening and life-threatening medical conditions, and administer CPR to adults and children between the ages of 1 to 12 years old.
- Course fee includes: Adult/Child CPR certification card (valid for 1 year) from the American Red Cross, participant’s workbook, face shield and non-latex gloves.

Child/Infant CPR

- This course is designed to teach participants how to respond to basic emergencies, recognize and care for nonlife-threatening and life-threatening medical conditions, and administer CPR to children and infants.

First Aid
- 4 hour course
- This course is designed to teach individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to provide basic first aid to the sick or injured. Participants will learn how to care for soft tissue and bone injuries such as burns, wounds and fractures. In addition, participants will learn how to recognize and manage sudden illnesses such as seizures, strokes, diabetic emergencies, as well as cold and heat related emergencies. Finally, this course will cover injury prevention and how to put together a proper first aid kit.
- *Course fee includes: First Aid certification card (valid for 3 years) from the American Red Cross, participant’s workbook and a First Aid student training kit.

Child CPR/AED & Infant CPR
- 5 hour course
- This course is designed to teach participants how to respond to basic emergencies, recognize and care for nonlife-threatening and life-threatening medical conditions, and administer CPR to children and infants between the ages of newborn to 12 years old. In addition, participants will be taught the information and skills necessary for correct use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) on children.
- Course fee includes: Child CPR/AED & Infant CPR certification card (valid for 1 year) from the American Red Cross, participant’s workbook, face shield and non-latex gloves.

Workplace Training - OSHA Recommended
- 6 – 7 hours
- Minimum of 6 participants.
- This course is designed to teach participants how to prepare for a safe working environment while following OSHA recommended guidelines. They will learn how to respond to basic medical emergencies common to the workplace, recognize and care for life threatening medical conditions, and administer CPR to an adult. Participants will also be taught the information and skills necessary for correct use of an AED (automated external defibrillator). In addition, participants will be taught the knowledge and skills necessary to provide basic first aid to the sick or injured. They will learn how to recognize and manage sudden illnesses such as seizures, strokes, diabetic emergencies, as well as cold and heat related emergencies. Finally, this course will cover injury prevention, basic emergency action planning and how to put together a proper first aid kit.

- This course is designed to teach all medical professionals, firefighters, police officers and lifeguards the skills necessary to save a life in a variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies, perform one and two-rescuer CPR on all ages, use a pocket mask and bag-valve-mask when performing CPR, and the correct use of an AED on adults and children. This course is required for most healthcare occupations.
- Course fee includes: Professional Rescuer Adult/Child CPR/AED & Infant CPR certification card (valid for 1 year) from the American Red Cross, participant's workbook, face shield and non-latex gloves.

- 4 hours
- This recertification course is designed to teach all medical professionals, firefighters, police officers and lifeguards the skills necessary to save a life in a variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. - This renewal course is designed to teach all medical professionals, firefighters, police officers and lifeguards the skills necessary to save a life in a variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.
